Sandalwood is the most popular oil in the world, but the only pure oil comes from Mysore, India (where our oil is sourced). It requires 200kg of sandalwood to produce 2 litres of oil. It is a threatened species and indigenous to South India. It has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, meditation and skin revitalization. It is considered an alternative medicine to bring one closer to the divine. Sandalwood is integral to rituals and ceremonies throughout India.

Medicinal Properties: Anti-viral, immune-stimulant, asthma (1 drop in black tea), sun burn, dry skin, wrinkles, scar tissue, viral infections, weight reduction (1 drop in lemon juice), arthritis, anxiety, rheumatism.
Other Uses: Massage (mix 2 drops with almond oil).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Dust or wipe clean with a cloth dampened with water once a week. Be sure not to leave water spots on the surface. These water spots will dry and could possibly leave permanent marks.

Clean stains/spots using the following steps: Dampen a soft cloth with a mixture of hot water and liquid dishwashing detergent. Wring the cloth as much as possible to remove excess liquid. Rub the surface lightly in a circular motion. Dry the surface immediately with a clean, soft towel.
